Hi guys! Updating you with how the art is progressing along.
Made a character in modeling clay yesterday and wanted to show off my hard work (it's not good, but eh). I'm learning that maybe air-dry clay or cold porcelain would have been a better move, since you can make a better slip with it. (that's how you connect joints and smooth out the sculpt). I used an armature of paper clips twisted together, and honestly? Not a bad idea, just not good for heavy clay areas. Paper clips as a wire structure works better for hands.
Anyways here she is!
It's working different parts of my brain trying to do this kinda work so, I'm glad I'm trying to do so. Going to try to do some air dry clay next so I can sand it, paint it and add UV resin eyes!
Until next time!

Clay isn't an easy form to master, but with this clay model here, I can tell that you did an adequate job with it. We await to see what else you may discover during your ventures and if you can improve upon it with future knowledge at hand.

Thanks for taking time out your day to comment. I agree that clay sure isn't easy but with my lack of proper tools and decent clay, I did a pretty darn good job at this. I'm sure I'll make all sorts of leaps and bounds with this experience under my belt. Thanks!
